On the 8th and 9th of February, we celebrated the launch of the new and improved Winelands tour with African Eagle, as it marks the launch for their exciting experience in Zevenwacht Wine Estate E-bike trail.
You may be looking for a scenic adventure with some wine, well African Eagle has you covered. With a tour guide, guiding you through the wine estate of Zevenwacht and Jordan, you’ll be amazed by the views overlooking the beautiful mother city. Before leaving for your trail, a short safety briefing will be given by your tour guide. The two hour ride will have you in awe of the historical properties located in Stellenbosch, you will also gain knowledge about the many wonders of Cape Town. The trail starts in between the surrounding properties and continues between hills and small valleys.
With a heads-up to the wine lovers, you may enjoy the tantalizing taste of two wine tasting award-winning farms, your first stop will be at the Jordan Wine Estate for some exquisite wine tasting. Once you’ve completed your wine tasting, your adventure continues to the top of the hill – where you can ‘press pause’ and take in the refresh breeze and stunning landscape. Some fruit juice will be served with our famous South African biltong, what more could you ask for!
Next stop will be for Lunch at Zevenwacht Wine Estate, where you are able to choose between three picnic options – one of the options being suitable for vegetarians – then you will be able to enjoy your picnic by the beautiful lawn and the enchanting lake. The tour continues with a visit to the cellar and then off to your last wine tasting.
The adventures of electric biking allows everyone to experience the Winelands tour, no need to be a professional biker, the extra electrical assistant will allow you to have fun and enjoy your ride. So bring along your family and friends for a great excursion!
Transport can be arranged back to your hotel once your Winelands tour has been completed.
